About the enterprise
Karavansky distillery is located in Lyubotinsky district of Kharkov region. Founded back in 1709, it began its work as a distillery in 1837. It was a low-powered enterprise producing 80 dal of alcohol per day. A number of historical events and changes of ownership led only to idle production capacity, only after the Second World War, the plant managed to electrify and in 1975 the capacity of the plant was 2550 dal. The modern history begins in 2013, during the reconstruction the capacity was brought up to 4400 dal, but a number of political and legislative “collisions” did not allow the plant to open up to its full capacity.
Only in 2021, after the complete privatization of the plant by the concern “Ukrspetsspirt” there was hope for a complete reconstruction of capacity and the resumption of uninterrupted operation.
Already now the concern invested more than $ 2 million, which allowed Karavansky distillery to improve the quality of products, reduce production costs and the overall cost of its production. To achieve these goals, “UkrSpecSpirits” uses high-tech production equipment and has fundamentally changed the concept of the distillery.
As a result, the large-scale restart of the alcohol industry, not only creates new jobs and provides a stable payment of taxes to the treasury, it ensures economic growth, due to the development of Ukrainian enterprises and reduce imports.
